Gymnasium Guzda in Nordkamerun
Der Schulbesuch im ländlichen Gebiet Nordkameruns ist für die dort lebenden Kinder noch lange nicht selbstverständlich. Trotz der staatlichen Schulpflicht gehen geschätzt ein Drittel aller Kinder noch nicht zur Schule, weil sich die Eltern die Schulgebühren und –materialien nicht für all ihre Kinder leisten können. Die Arbeitskraft der Kinder in den äußerst kinderreichen Familien wird im Haus und auf dem Felde gebraucht. Nach Sonnenuntergang – im Sommer wie im Winter kurz nach 18 Uhr – kann kein Kind mehr für die Schule lernen, weil es kein elektrisches Licht gibt.
Wer unter den äußerst schwierigen Bedingungen dennoch den Elementarschulabschluss nach der sechsten Klasse in einer der dörflichen Grundschulen schafft und auch die nötigen Mittel dazu findet, hat seit zehn Jahren die Möglichkeit, das Gymnasium von Guzda zu besuchen. Das sind aktuell immerhin 1536 Schülerinnen und Schüler aus der ganzen Gegend.
Aber dort können längst nicht alle Fächer, die im nationalen Lehrplan vorgesehen sind, angeboten werden – aus einem einfachen Grunde: es gibt keinen Stromanschluss. Informatikunterricht fällt genauso aus wie Experimente in Physik und Chemie.
Da die Kinder auch zuhause keinen Stromanschluss haben, können sie abends nichts für die Schule tun. Einige wenige junge Leute haben ein Handy. Um es zu laden, müssen sie warten, bis Markttag ist und ein Händler mit einer Batterie das Aufladen für Geld anbietet. Das können sie sich aber oft auch nicht leisten.
Das Gymnasium von Guzda muss unbedingt mit Strom versorgt werden.
Dann können die jungen Leute ein vollwertiges Abitur machen und dann haben sie auch abends die Gelegenheit, in den Schulgebäuden zu lernen und sich auf die Prüfungen vorzubereiten. Und die Handys der Lehrer und Schüler können aufgeladen werden.
Die Schule braucht unbedingt eine solarbetriebene Stromversorgung. ABIOLA hat einen ABIOLA TurboCharger 60W, Lampen für Beleuchtung mehrere Räume und einen 12V/220V Converter für kleiner Verbraucher (wie Notebooks) bereits verbindlich zugesagt. Es wäre jedoch sehr wertvoll, wenn ABIOLA eine Spende für diese Projekt bekommen würde, um noch mehr wertvolle Projekte realisieren zu können.

Guzda high school in North Cameroon
Attending school in the rural area of North Cameroon is by no means a matter of course for the children living there. Despite compulsory schooling by the state, an estimated one third of all children do not yet go to school because their parents cannot afford school fees and materials for all of their children. The labor of the children in the extremely large families is needed in the house and in the fields. After sunset - shortly after 6 p.m. in both summer and winter - no child can study for school because there is no electric light.
Those who still manage to graduate from elementary school after the sixth grade in one of the village elementary schools under the extremely difficult conditions and also find the necessary funds have had the opportunity to attend the Guzda high school for ten years. That is currently 1536 students from all over the area.
But not all subjects that are provided for in the national curriculum can be offered there - for one simple reason: there is no electricity connection. Computer science lessons are just as varied as experiments in physics and chemistry.
Since the children do not have a power connection at home either, they cannot do anything for school in the evening. A few young people have cell phones. To charge it, they have to wait until market day and a trader with a battery offers it to charge for money. But often they cannot afford that either.
It is imperative that the Guzda grammar school be supplied with electricity.
Then the young people can do a full high school diploma and then they also have the opportunity in the evening to study in the school buildings and to prepare for the exams. And the cell phones of teachers and students can be charged.
The school absolutely needs a solar-powered power supply. ABIOLA has already given a binding commitment to an ABIOLA TurboCharger 60W, lamps for lighting several rooms and a 12V / 220V converter for small consumers (such as notebooks). However, it would be very valuable if ABIOLA received a donation for this project in order to be able to realize even more valuable projects.

Lycée Guzda au Nord Cameroun
Aller à l\'école dans la zone rurale du nord du Cameroun n\'est en aucun cas une évidence pour les enfants qui y vivent. Malgré la scolarité obligatoire, on estime qu\'un tiers de tous les enfants ne vont pas encore à l\'école parce que les parents n\'ont pas les moyens de payer les frais de scolarité et le matériel pour tous leurs enfants. Le travail des enfants des familles extrêmement nombreuses est nécessaire à la maison et aux champs. Après le coucher du soleil - juste après 18 heures en été et en hiver - aucun enfant ne peut étudier à l\'école car il n\'y a pas de lumière électrique.
Ceux qui parviennent encore à sortir de l\'école élémentaire après la sixième dans l\'une des écoles élémentaires du village dans des conditions extrêmement difficiles et trouvent également les fonds nécessaires ont eu l\'opportunité de fréquenter le lycée de Guzda pendant dix ans. Cela représente actuellement 1536 étudiants de partout dans la région.
Mais toutes les matières prévues dans le programme national ne peuvent pas y être proposées - pour une raison simple: il n\'y a pas de connexion électrique. Les cours d\'informatique sont tout aussi variés que les expériences de physique et de chimie.
Étant donné que les enfants n\'ont pas non plus de connexion électrique à la maison, ils ne peuvent rien faire pour l\'école le soir. Quelques jeunes ont des téléphones portables. Pour le recharger, ils doivent attendre le jour du marché et un revendeur avec une batterie propose de le recharger pour de l\'argent. Mais souvent, ils ne peuvent pas non plus se le permettre.
Il est impératif que le lycée de Guzda soit alimenté en électricité.
Ensuite, les jeunes peuvent faire un diplôme d\'études secondaires complet et ensuite ils ont également la possibilité le soir d\'étudier dans les bâtiments scolaires et de se préparer aux examens. Et les téléphones portables des enseignants et des étudiants peuvent être chargés.
L\'école a absolument besoin d\'une alimentation électrique solaire. ABIOLA a déjà pris un engagement ferme pour un ABIOLA TurboCharger 60W, des lampes pour éclairer plusieurs pièces et un convertisseur 12V / 220V pour les petits consommateurs (comme les ordinateurs portables). Cependant, il serait très précieux qu\'ABIOLA reçoive un don pour ce projet afin de pouvoir réaliser des projets encore plus précieux.
